My Approach and Services
My approach is integrative
combining elements from a range of therapeutic models to suit each individual’s unique needs. I work primarily through Dance Movement Psychotherapy, grounded in person-centred values and trauma-informed practice.
Movement is used not as performance, but as a way to express and process feelings, regulate the nervous system, and build self-awareness. For those who find talking difficult or overwhelming, movement can provide a gentle and effective alternative.
As a neurodivergent-affirming therapist, I create environments that are sensory-aware, accepting, and responsive. Sessions might include:
· Creative movement or stillness
· Breath work and grounding tools
· Use of objects, art, or music to support expression
· Talking, if and when it feels right
My goal is always to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you or your child can explore, connect, and grow at your own pace.
